04 Apr Sugar Cookies
Easter cookie love! We love to bake cookies in my family. We do traditional recipes and we also like to mix and match them. It is a nice recipe to bake with children. Let’s see how to bake these cookies.
We are going to make two cookie flavors and mix them together. Vanilla and matcha tea dough. Such an exciting combination. I am sure you are going to love it!

Ingredients:
Plain dough:
250 gr all-purpose flour
100 gr confectioners shifted sugar
150 gr butter (room temperature)
40 gr egg yolks
Pinch of salt
Pinch of vanilla powder

Matcha cookie dough:
225 gr all-purpose flour
25 gr of matcha tea powder
100 gr confectioners shifted sugar
150 gr butter (room temperature)
40 gr egg yolks
Pinch of salt
Pinch of vanilla powder

The method:
Preheat the oven at 350 F (180 C).
Into a stand mixer bowl, with leaf attachment, place butter and confectioners sugar.
Beat them until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks one by one and beat until well combined.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until combined.
Wrap the cookie dough tightly with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Roll out both dough to 4mm. Cut out shapes your favorite from one dough and place them into the other dough. Roll out to combine both dough slightly. Repeat and bake for 8 – 10 min.
Enjoy!
