Greek and Simple began when I became a mom and felt creativity bubbling under my skin, longing for a new life.
I started sharing my recipes on YouTube as a homegrown cooking show—just me, talking to the camera and filming with an old phone. I posted two videos a week, juggling motherhood with the intense work of filming, editing, and uploading content. A few months in, I was completely drained. I knew I needed a pause.
During that time, I dove into the world of photography and videography. I studied, practiced, tested new recipes, and experimented with baking. I wanted to grow—not just as a cook, but as a visual storyteller.
And then, a new season began for Greek and Simple. The videos evolved. I stepped out of the spotlight, letting the food become the hero. The recipes began to speak for themselves—through beautiful lighting, composition, and movement. A year later, another layer was added: glimpses of our life in New Jersey. Our travels. Our crafts. Our stories. It became a vibrant canvas painted with the colors of family, tradition, and everyday magic.
I believe life is made of moments—a blank canvas we fill with our own colors. Sharing these pieces of my cooking canvas with you is my way of bringing joy, warmth, and inspiration to your table.

What am I working on?
Making over my daughter's bedroom and a sandwich
I haven’t figured out the final title yet but the theme is my daughter’s room makeover and a vintage style sandwich that my grandma used to feed me as a child when I was playing with the other children of our village in Central Greece during summer break.
Making over the room brought in my mind memories of my childhood and then I came up with the idea to remake the sandwich that used to be something like a dinner snack for me.
I can’t wait to share more.
Right now I am done with the rough editing and working on part by part in more detail. I am hoping by the end of the week the video will be up in the YouTube air! Stay tuned!
