14 Mar Simply amazing crepes
Who doesn’t like crepes?
Imagine now that someone got up earlier in the morning and made these delicious crepes for your breakfast!
Ah yes! I had this experience during our vacation in Greece. My amazing father did his magic again! He made these crepes for us and we enjoyed them with our favorite toppings.
I had them with banana, chocolate tahini and pistachios. Which is your favorite topping?
Simple but so delicious? Who said only complicated stuff is yummy?
Here my father’s recipe for crepes. I named them Crepes ala daddy!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup water
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
The method:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and eggs. Gradually add the milk and water and keep stirring. Add the salt and butter, until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium to high heat. Scoop the crepes batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each crepe. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface of the pan.
Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula, turn and cook the other side. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Enjoy!
