07 Mar Homemade Chocolate pudding
This is my daughter’s favorite chocolate pudding. She love’s of course anything that has to do with chocolate. It is a really quick and easy recipe that everyone can do. I think if you like chocolate you must try this recipe at least once and I am sure it is going to be your favorite!
Ingredients:
- ⅔ cup cocoa powder
- 4 ½ cups milk
- 1 ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 – 4 Tbsp butter
- ⅓ cup cornstarch
- pinch of salt

The method:
In a pan combine together sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and cornstarch and mix well. Then add the cold milk and whisk until combined.
Increase heat to medium and keep stirring until the mixture starts boiling.
Allow the mixture to boil for 1 minute while stirring.
Then remove from heat and add the butter and vanilla and mix.
Allow the mixture to cool completely. To avoid skin forming on the pudding, stir from time to time until the mixture is cool.
You can serve chilled or warm.
I like to top it with fresh fruits and crumbled hazelnuts.
Enjoy!
