Hot day today? There’s no better way to cool down than with a homemade popsicle! ☀️🍦
These creamy vanilla & chocolate popsicles are easy to make, naturally sweetened, and so much fun to eat. With just a few simple ingredients, you can whip up a refreshing treat that tastes indulgent but feels light — perfect for both kids and grown-ups!
✨ Ingredients
400 ml whole milk
400 ml heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp honey (or more, to taste)
3 to 5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
Chocolate chips (as many as you like!)
🥄 Instructions
Make the vanilla base: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and honey until smooth and well combined.
Prepare the popsicle molds: Add chocolate chips to the bottom of each mold. Pour the vanilla mixture into the molds until they’re halfway full.
Freeze the first layer: Insert popsicle sticks and place the molds in the freezer for 4–5 hours, or until the vanilla layer is firm.
Make the chocolate layer: Mix the remaining vanilla base with the sifted cocoa powder until smooth.
Finish the popsicles: Pour the chocolate mixture on top of the frozen vanilla layer. Return to the freezer for another 4–5 hours, or until fully set.
Serve and enjoy! Run warm water around the molds for a few seconds to release. Enjoy right away!
💡 Tips & Variations
Swap honey with maple syrup for a vegan-friendly option (if using plant-based milk & cream).
Try crushed cookies, chopped nuts, or swirls of peanut butter between the layers!
