12 Dec Swirl Christmas Cookie
Green tea and vanilla cookies are the new flavors of this Christmas. I have the absolute flavor for your tea parties and gatherings for this Holidays!

You need:
- 400 gr – 1 1/2 cups butter (room temperature)
- 220 gr – 3/4 cup confectioners sugar
- 600 gr – 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp Green tea powder
- Sprinkles for decoration

The method:
In a bowl combine together the sugar with the butter, the egg and the vanilla extract. Then add the flour little by little and keep mixing. When your mixture is ready, separate it in half and add the green tea powder in one of them and mix well. Make a square with your hands and wrap them separately with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 30 mins. Then unwrap and use parchment paper to roll each of them to a thin layer. Put the two layers on top of eachother and press lightly. Then roll them together. Wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight. Preheat the oven 340 F. Slice the cookie roll in thin slices and roll the cookies in the sprinkles of your choice. Bake for 10 to 15 mins or until they are golden on edges.
